President Buhari.

FG advises students to engage in online studies pending reopening of schools 

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has advised students to take advantage of free education websites to learn, pending when schools would reopen.

Mustapha also added that mobile networks have offered data discounts for subscribers for education purposes.

He made the disclosure at the Presidential Task Force briefing on Tuesday.

The federal government had ordered schools to remain closed due to the rising number of covid-19 infections in the country.

The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, had also stressed that safety has to be guaranteed before schools could reopen.

He had also hinted that schools may be split into two sessions per day, when it eventually reopen
