Why  we introduced African’s first Industrial TV reality –  GMD, Lashone Links, Shonekan

 

The Africa’s first Industrial TV reality show was introduced few months ago to encourage youung entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

The show was inspired by Lashone Links Communications Limited and Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO) to advocate for development of meaningful entreprenurial culture and motivate young entrepreneurs towards evolving a productive economy by providing alterative but complimentary funding opportunies for investment in indigenour R & D technologies for job creation and national socio-economic development.

In an interview with The skybirdnewsgroup recent in his office, Lagos, the Group Managing Director /Chief Executive Officer of Lashone Links Communications Limited, Dr. Lanre Shonekan said the  Africa’s first Industrial TV reality show was introduced few months ago to encourage youung entrepreneurs in Nigeria was a dream come through as the young entrepreneurs participanting in the show  are hard to emerge as winners.

He noted that the show was designed to enage and participants as they go through different levels of tasks to enhance and naurture them to be world class solution providers and industrial entrepreneurs in the areas of techologies applied to processing, production and manufacturing.

The show was targeted at connecting and promoting the interest of Nigerian youthful population: especically the unemployed youth and prospective entrepreneurs in indigenous technologyies solutions for manufacturing and production in the area of : Food  and Argo –allied Processing, product design and packaging, processing equipment design and fabrication , waste to wealth, chemical and environmental technology and biotechnology.

Benefits of the show

A lot of benefits await the over all winers at end of the day. It is expected that the first price would go home with N25 million, Second price, N15 million, Third price, N10 million, plus N10 million take off business grant for the three winners.

First 3 winners will be supported to own small scale enterprise each based on FIIRO technologies on any of the technogies on any of the technology/ incubation centres in Nigeria. 37 entrepreneurs would emerge as the most ouststanding Idustrial Enterpreneurs ( Certfied by FIIRO).

The winners will be recommended to CBN, Bank of Industry, Bank of Agriculture and program collaborators like Dangote Group, Nasco Group, Unilever Nig. Plc. May and Baker Nig. Plc for business take off loan/grants.

Everyone that register is entitled to 1-day free entrepreneurial training with a certificate of participantion.
