As the governorship election for Osun State draw near and political parties prepare for their respective primaries, a leading aspirant and grassroots mobiliser, Hon. Moshood Adeoti, current Secretary to the State Government has called on the leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) to ensure free and fair primaries if it intends to win the election fixed September 12, 2018.
Adeoti, who was a former chairman of the party spoke against the backdrop of recent moves by some party leaders to sideline some aspirants in the process leading to the primaries.
According to him, from Iwo in Osun West senatorial district, coming out to context the election, though not a do or die affair for him, but the efforts of major party stakeholders in the state and in the country must be recognized at all times.
“For me, my interest is to move the Osun State forward through some key initiatives which include youth empowerment, job creation, industrialization and qualitative healthcare and agriculture, and have visited all the local government to explain my mission to the people who are currently looking forward to good governance to continue in the state,” he said .
He promise to be fear to all and build on the success of the current administration haven been part of the success story of APC lead government in the state.
